Julie Parker of Metcalf Hodges recently helped organize the American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA) Controllers' Seminar held on April 29, 2011 in Bellingham.  The all-day event provided continuing education and credit to 36 professional women accountants who attended from various parts of Northwest Washington State.  Event speakers presented topics including International Accounting Standards, employment law, business development and estate law for executors.

Julie has been a member of ASWA since 1995 and is an Enrolled Agent and Quickbooks ProAdvisor.  She has been with Metcalf Hodges for over 17 years and enjoys assisting a variety of clients with their accounting, payroll, taxation questions as well as compliance and reporting requirements.
